Pulsus parvus et tardus: Aortic stenosis
Pulsus alterans: Left ventricle failure
Dicrotic pulse: Dilated cardiomyopathy
Jerky pulse: HOCM, Severe MR, AR complicated by severe heart
Collapsing pulse: Aortic regurgitation, Patent ductus arteriosus,
Ruptured sinus of valsalva, Large AV communication,
Hyperdynamic circulation
Pulsus bisferience: AR with or without accompanying AS., HOCM
Pulsus paradoxus: Asthma, Cardiac tamponade, Constrictive
pericarditis, Airway obstruction, Superior vena caval obstruction
